These cds go great with the book Enlightenment Process. I did the exercises and have been opening and experiencing life from the wholeness (core) of my being. When the defenses come down, it is truly a blessing. I am living, where as before I was only trying to survive.

Step into your True Nature through embodiment

One of the best spiritual help CDs I have. She is a sensitive that knows what she's doing. Creates embodiment in the first exercise that grounds you for spiritual experiences. A master at using just the right words to lead you into the deep Self. She is non religious and no nonsense in her approach which gives you a direct transmission of fundamental consciousness, Love it and use it regularly.

One of my Top 2 picks for Healing and Well-Being

I bought the mp3 audio through Sounds True, but thought I'd also leave a review here as this method of meditation has transformed my life in so many ways.

First of all, I had a pretty rough childhood which included losing my mother at the age of 8, only 5 months after immigrating to the U.S. from Asia, and not knowing a single word of English. That, combined with a dysfunctional family to start with, left me pretty scarred growing up.

I read a ton of self-help books, and they all helped in some way. Went to a very expensive NLP therapist that charges $200/hour for about 1.5 years, and it helped me release a lot of old wounds.

After 1.5 years, I felt considerably better about my life and myself, so I stopped going to the therapist. But I knew there were still things I still wanted to work on regarding my feeling of safety and how I relate to others.

I was actually introduced to The Realization Process several months before I started seeing my expensive therapist, at a time in my life when I had been unemployed for about 2.5 years, broke, and had developed very severe anxiety around people as a result of my situation.

Because of my desperate situation, I was motivated to do the meditation every single day for a couple of months, and it helped me feel safe in my body and abated my anxiety so I could be calm during a crucial interview. I got the job, and thus began to piece my life together.

When my new job started back in 2012, the motivation to do the meditation waned because I was no longer in desperation, so I didn't practice the meditation again until I stopped seeing my expensive therapist.

I picked up my practice of The Realization Process again in January 2015 and also took a day long workshop with Judith in Berkeley. Since then, I've been doing the meditation on average about 2X-3X per week for 30 minutes each time.

The meditation has helped me be more comfortable with taking up more space within my body, transforming my slouching posture to a naturally occurring vertical posture, helping me breath deeper and slower breaths. The end result is a greater sense of ease, self-possession, and safety.

I noticed that when I do my meditations regularly, it changes the way I live in my body, the way I move has a gentle sense of power to it, and others treat me with more respect as a result of me being more comfortable inside my skin.

I never really understood the term "comfortable in her skin" until I practiced The Realization Process. Then I understood it because being comfortable with yourself has very much to do with how comfortable you are living within the space inside your body. When people have experienced trauma, it causes them to contract their muscles in response to the stress, and over time, these contractions become part of the way your body is organized.

The Realization Process helped me reclaim parts of myself that I was not in touch by helping me to gradually release these inner contractions so I can reclaim my internal space and sense of power/safety/well being.

About the Author
Graham Greene (1904-1991), whose long life nearly spanned the length of the twentieth century, was one of its greatest novelists. Educated at�Berkhamsted�School�and�Balliol�College,�Oxford, he started his career as a sub-editor of the�London�Times.�He began to attract notice as a novelist with his fourth book,�Orient Express,�in 1932. In 1935, he trekked across northern�Liberia, his first experience in�Africa, told in�A Journey Without Maps�(1936). Satirical spoof. I found myself giggling throughout.

This 1958 novel was a complete surprise to me. I'd read three books by this author before and found them dark and introspective. But "Our Man in Havana" is a satirical spoof and I found myself giggling throughout. It deals with a theme that Greene has revisited on many occasions - that of a spy in a foreign country. But this time, it's all in fun, although between the 220 pages of this slim volume, he manages to say a few important things about social class, the Catholic Church, and the absurdity of international relations.
The hero of the story is Jim Wormold, a divorced vacuum cleaner salesman from England in pre-Castro Cuba. His 17-year-old daughter is growing up fast and he finds he needs money. So when the British Secret Service recruits him, he invents a whole world of secret agents and intrigues just to keep the money flowing. He is even sent a secretary, which introduces a bit of romance to the outrageous plot. All of a sudden, the lies he has invented seem to be coming true and the plot thickens, moving along at a breakneck pace. I was totally involved, and found myself laughing out loud at times. What a delightful read! Highly recommended.

Wickedly entertaining

I went into OUR MAN IN HAVANA with very few expectations. I was under the vague impression that it was a thriller of sorts and I somehow knew that there had a been a film made out of it a number of decades back. So I was a bit surprised when I started reading the book and found out that it was a comedy. Surprised and delighted, because OUR MAN turned out to be one of the more understated and enjoyable satires that I've read in a good long time.
The book is a smart send up of a lot of the standard material one would have found in the noir films and books of the time (the novel was published in 1958, when the genre was starting to wear itself out). A British secret agent, looking to increase his community of contacts, has arranged for an ordinary vacuum cleaner salesman to file reports of any unusual activity in the area. The merchant, Mr. Wormold, reluctantly agrees to this arrangement for no reason other than the lure of extra money; he has a teenage daughter with very expensive tastes (to whit: men and horses). To keep himself employable, Wormold constructs a whole world of intrigue to write home about. The back-cover hints at one of the book's funnier gags, but all of Wormold's fictions (and especially the reaction they receive at the other end) are hilarious.
Despite the comic portions of the plot, the characters themselves are allowed to retain a certain dignity. The prose is also as lush as one would expect from a Graham Greene novel. One particular scene stood out as a wonderful piece of writing. Placing two main characters inside a dark, dingy saloon, Greene describes the other inhabitants as looking like paratroopers about to parachute out of an airplane. Their quick glances at the door and their hushed demeanor are all exquisitely described. I like comedies as much as the next guy, but it's rare to find one that is simply this literate and also so entertaining.
OUR MAN IN HAVANA is a relatively short novel; my copy clocks in at just two hundred twenty pages. It makes for a quick read, but not a throwaway one. It's smooth enough to be read as a straightforward thriller, if that's what you're in the mood for, as its comedy is more on the subtle than on the broad side. But, that said, the neat cuts of satire make this a hilarious and whimsical tale.

His Best and Most Humorous Entertainment

More successful than most of Greene's "entertainments," this comic spy tale set in pre-Castro Cuba concerns an insignificant little man-a vacuum cleaner salesman to be precise-who, against his better judgment, becomes MI6's "man in Havana." A longtime Havana resident, Englishman Jim Wormold is divorced, but the custodian of his beautiful, Catholic teenage daughter, Millie. One day he is approached by Hawthorne-a hilariously daft MI6 agent, whose speech is littered with upper crust slang-who shanghais him into becoming a spy. Although he is resistant to the whole notion, his best friend (a German named Hasselbacher), suggests he simply manufacture his sources and intelligence and take the ample money. Millie's expensive tastes and his own devotion to her result in his succumbing to this temptation, and he spends a few happy weeks inventing subagents and fake intelligence. For the first time in years he's doing something interesting, and no longer has money worries-in the funniest bit, he submits drawings of vacuum cleaner parts as sketches of a new Cuban weapons installation.
Of course, this being Greene, complications arise. He is sent reinforcements from the London office, and must scramble to keep them in the dark as to his deception. At the same time, his inventions seem to be taking on a life of their own as people start dying around him, and somebody seems to think he's a real spy. Integral to all this is the ever-present Captain Seguras, a policeman of some renown as a sadist who seeks Millie's hand in marriage. Although a deep melancholy and tragedy lurks in the background, and there's a rather lame love injected, it remains a delightfully absurd tale, one of Greene's better efforts. One is rather reminded of Joseph Conrad's classic, The Secret Agent, in which an ordinary shopkeeper receives payment as a spy for doing nothing-payments which allow him to keep the company of a beautiful woman-and whose misguided scheme ultimately crumbles around him.

Anyone that owns/uses a computer should read Computer Forensics.

Marie Helen Maras introduces cybercriminals, laws and evidence without bogging down in either too much emphasis on hardware and software technical information, or so much legal analysis that a comprehensive background in law is required.

She explains the litany of terms and explains real life examples of those who perpetrated some these crimes.

She talks about logic bombs, keyloggers, sniffers and botnets (taking control over a computer) by botherders, without the knowledge of the computer user and so so much more.

This is an important book that should be read by all computer users.

People should be aware of these risks.

Find the crime then get a conviction

There are at least two major aspects of Computer Forensics. irst there is the technical aspects of how hackers break into systems to collect data (like credit card or social security card numbers, or of course secret data such as the military has) or to do damage which can vary from a denial of service attack by so overloading a companies systems that they can no longer deliver web pages. The second aspect is how to convert these crimes into something that can be taken to the courtroom and presented to the judge/jury.

Dr. Maras has combined these two aspects together to present a book that gives an excellent overview of the way the real world is not viewing computer crime. The technical aspect is necessary in order to be able to determine a crime has been committed and how it was done. The courtroom aspect is necessary if any evidence collected is going to be used to actually secure a conviction and this has to be done in a world where the average judge or jury is not overly familiar with computers.

Psychology with imagination

No one writes like Pat Berry. She can take you down into the subtlest spaces and the deepest insights, all the while writing as though she were having a conversation with you. Countless times I have recommended her to people looking for an excellent therapist. In that same spirit I recommend her book. It has guided me for many years, and I've stolen ideas from it for all of my own books. Consider the chapter, "Defense and Telos in Dreams." The title sounds fancy, but it explores a basic idea: our emotional problems contain the solutions to our lives. The riches in this book are astounding. It's one of ten indispensable books I take with me whenever I travel for a long period.

When this book was published in 1982, it was the first and then only down to earth explanation of the practice of the archetypal psychological version of Jungian therapy. Now all these years later, it remains the best expression of practical archetypal psychological work with dreams, fantasies, and behaviors. All the more is the case because of the inclusion of the new essay by the author of "Rules of Thumb." For those really interested in what the psychological practice is all about, this is a must read!
